Old Heinz Pocket Knife?
I have an old Heinz pocket knife that I got from my mom’s friend. It’s shaped like a pickle and looks like it may have been covered with green lacquer at one time and it says that it’s German-made on the blade. It looks like it’s kinda old (50 or so years). I was wondering if anybody could tell me anything about it, ie: where and when it was sold, was it available to the general public or was it a one time promotional item. If you know anything about it, please tell me.
I think the best thing to do is to write the company and see if they have ever offered any thing like what you have.
Do a search for Heinz pickle co and you can find where to write.It may be the case that the company has been sold and you might be able to get the answer. I think that they would have a history of the company and someone would be able to help you out.
