Promotional Knife
Is Kmart liable to refund me?
I had to return a set of FOREVER SHARP knives sold by a lady who apparently rented space from Kmart in order to sell her product(which I got to know today)!!! Today when I went back to return the knives, the manager at Kmart tells me they have nothing to do with the knives and could not give me a refund. I thought that it was Kmart’s promotional offer and hence bought it. Is Kmart liable to give me a refund or have I lost my money? Any idea if there is a consumer protection law regarding this kind of selling practices?
The sales lady said that we could return the product anytime if we were not happy with it. It had a lifetime warranty.
I have the recipt and it does not say Kmart on it neither does it say where I can ship the merchandise to get a refund.
Kmart owes you nothing. The receipt is your contract and your contract is with Twin Towers Trading, the seller of Forever Sharp Knives.
