Old Hunting Knife
would you buy your kid a knife?
my 11 year old nephew has been collecting knives since he was 9, and his parents buy them! now, i wouldn’t be that concerned about small pocket knives, but he has over 20 large (7″+) combat knives, and hunting knives. do you think this is “good”?
he does use some of them, but mostly the smaller bladed ones, the rest he keeps in a drawer
It depends on the kid. I wouldn’t let my kid with a behavioral problem collect knives, but a regular, responsible kid – why not? I don’t exactly keep the butcher knife in the kitchen under lock and key after all.
If the parents are okay with it, you should be okay with it too unless he has some major red flags waving. Even then, he already has the knives. So, I guess just try to stay on his good side
