PRECIOUS METALS – European Morning View – Gold lags despite weak dollar sentiment
London 21/10/2010 – A steep fall in the dollar triggered a rebound in risk appetite Wednesday, boosting commodity and equity prices as the CRB Index finished up just over 2%; the Dow and S&P500 settled up around 1.1%. But, despite the scale of dollar pressure and gains in other commodities gold failed to keep pace after running into heavy selling pressure on the US opening.
