Orosco Ridge shooting range closed indefinitely
Shooters have used the Orosco Ridge Shooting Area on the Palomar Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest for over 30 years, but the last shots may have been taken there in the wake of the Forest Service’s “indefinite closure due to safety reasons and an impending environmental study to determine if a clean-up of lead and other toxic materials is necessary.
