Does this look a good tent for the money?

Want a tent for three and with fairly good headroom to stand in.
Well, unless you’re under 180 centimeters tall, you wouldn’t be able to stand even in the highest part of the tent… and you almost certainly won’t be able to stand around the edges no matter how tall you are.
As to the tent, if you’re just using it for a weekend excursion with reasonably clear weather, yes, that would be fine. It would probably stand up acceptably to a little rain too, if needed. But don’t expect the groundsheet sewn in to do you any good, buy an additional tarp for underneath. Anything heavier than a little rain, though, and I’d start looking at a better model.
As to price, it looks acceptable to me. What many Americans don’t realize is that even though the exchange rate might be 89 pound = 144 dollars, that that doesn’t mean that when buying merchandise that the exchange is at the same rate. Fact of life: tents and camping equipment are more expensive in England than they are in America.
EDIT: Scouter, England has different size ratios on tents as well. That tent is 7.8 feet by 6 feet inside the sleeping area… which is actually a pretty decent size for 3 people (although the layout of people seems funny to me there… i would sleep with my feet towards the door to give me 3.6 feet of width and 6 feet of height rather than 7.8 feet of height and 2 feet of width… just my thoughts. And why would you put your pack inside your tent with you? Do you have something against your ground cover that you want to rip it?
