Dot Rifle Hunting
7.62×39 too big for coyote hunting?
Any caliber round is legal to be used in my state for varmit hunting. I was wondering if my Sagia 7.62×39 rifle is overkill for coyote? The rifle is more accurate than the standard AK and I have a red dot scope on it.
My dad’s favorite coyote gun is a M1 Garand. Most of the time the Rem 788 in 243 does the job. If it is the attempt kill the dog then whatever is close. No use buying another gun just to avoid being overgunned.
